There are several effects on Acton that Stanley Manufacturing decides to open a large factory. First of all, Stanley Manufacturing may bring a great deal of jobs for the citizens who lived in this town. It is a positive effect on the town. On the other hand, some people may worry about the pollution that the factory brings. Because of the development of industry, it will lead to air-pollution, noise-pollution and water-pollution. Therefore, it is the negative effect for the town. Then, the other positive effect that the factory brings is traffic convenience. For example, a lot of people go the factory by public transportation, so the government will set up more bus stops. According these effects, I think the factory brings not only convenient but also the environment pollution.
